The Mississippi Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors was established by the state legislature in 1928. The Board's mission is to safeguard life, health, and property, and to promote the public welfare by providing a complete and thorough registration process for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors, ensuring that each is properly qualified to practice in the state of Mississippi. The Board also regulates the practice of engineering and surveying in the state through investigation and disciplinary authority granted by Title 73, Chapter 13 of the Mississippi Code.

  • The next scheduled Board meeting will be on February 10, 2010 at 8:30 AM at the Board's office. There will also be a brief meeting the morning of Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Board office.

  • 2010 Licensure Renewals

  • Our online rosters for individuals and firms are now up-to-date for all renewals that have been received. The rosters will be updated at the end of each month from now on. Final notices will be mailed in early February to both individuals and firms that have not renewed their licenses for 2010. If you wish to renew, but you did not comply with the continuing education requirement by 12/31/2009, a disciplinary complaint with an agreed-upon consent order will be required prior to your renewal; for more information email: dclayborne@pepls.state.ms.us
